I have been taking a little break to enjoy the beautiful blooms at the National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, DC for the past few days. I took this picture on our walk around the Tidal Basin, aren't the trees amazing?

I have only been in Washington once when the cherry blossoms were in bloom, but they are spectacular...lets me know Spring is here!
Love the cherry blossom tree photo. I live in the midwest but am fortunate to be in WDC each spring to be able to see the blooming of the cherry blossom trees. Each year I am equally amazed and in awe of their beauty. Such a special time in our nations capitol.
